Create VMs you can resume
Install macOS from a version, a build, or a local restore image. If creation
stops, run the same command with --resume to continue from the last
verified step.
Pomme is a command-line tool for macOS virtual machines (VMs) on Apple silicon. It uses Apple’s Virtualization framework to install macOS from a restore image, and then installs an authenticated guest agent so that you can run programs, open shells, and transfer files without a network connection or a window.

Clone from templates
Restore macOS once into a template, then create new VMs from copy-on-write clones of it instead of restoring the image again.
Work inside the guest
Run programs, open durable terminal sessions, run background jobs, copy files, and read the guest agent’s logs.
Change security settings
Turn System Integrity Protection (SIP) and AMFI off and back on through journaled workflows that you can resume after a failure.
Enroll in MDM
Take a VM from any state to a supervised or unapproved mobile device management (MDM) enrollment with one command.
Automate everything
Get JSON or JSONL output from every command, send keys and clicks to the guest display, and take screenshots without a host window.
