Manage installed macOS templates for fast VM creation.

pomme template SUBCOMMAND

Restore a macOS image once so VMs can be cloned from it.

pomme template create [FLAGS] NAME
Argument Description
NAME Template name.
Flag Description
--version VERSION macOS version, build, or latest.
--latest Use the latest signed macOS version. Same as --version latest.
--restore-image RESTORE_IMAGE Local IPSW path.
--ipsw-device IPSW_DEVICE Apple silicon Mac identifier used to resolve --version.
--disk-size DISK_SIZE Virtual disk size; every VM cloned from the template inherits it. Default: 60GB.
--memory MEMORY Guest memory used only while restoring the image. Default: 4GB.
--from-template FROM_TEMPLATE Build on an existing installed template instead of restoring an image again. Only with --provisioned.
--provisioned Also prepare the owner account and leave SIP disabled with the AMFI override on, so a VM cloned from this template can run MDM enrollment as its first command with no security mutation. Every VM cloned from it inherits that posture.

List installed templates.

pomme template list [--json] [--format FORMAT] [--debug] [--progress PROGRESS]

Delete an installed template.

pomme template delete NAME [--force] [--json] [--format FORMAT] [--debug] [--progress PROGRESS]
Argument Description
NAME Template name.
Flag Description
-f, --force Delete without prompting.
